CVE Info ("we", "our", or "us") is an independent, third-party mobile application designed to provide publicly available cybersecurity vulnerability information. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the CVE Info app.
CVE Info displays publicly available vulnerability information retrieved from official government and public cybersecurity databases, including:
All vulnerability data remains the property of its respective publishers and is used in accordance with publicly available access policies.
Although CVE Info displays government-published information, the app itself is not an official government application. It does not claim to provide authoritative or legally binding security guidance. Users should always refer to the original government sources for official and up-to-date information.
CVE Info does not collect, store, or sell personal data. The app does not require user registration or account creation.
The app may temporarily cache publicly available CVE data on your device to improve performance and enable limited offline access. This cached data can be cleared by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage.
CVE Info makes read-only network requests to public APIs in order to fetch vulnerability information. No personal identifiers are transmitted as part of these requests.
CVE Info does not integrate advertising SDKs or analytics services that track users across apps or websites.
We take reasonable measures to ensure that data retrieved from public sources is transmitted securely using standard HTTPS connections.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
